About i^2
Once upon a time (April ‘07) in a land far far away (West Lafayette, Indiana), there was organization called Innovate Indiana. Its goal was to be a social gathering of entrepreneurs and investors. And then in August ‘07, without warning, Innovate Indiana died leaving entrepreneurs and investors around the state of Indiana in the cold and confused. Darkness and sadness spread throughout the state. The oracle said that this darkness shall be cast upon Hoosiers until the next Solar Eclipse. The Gods were kind to us…
On February 20th, 2008, we saw the solar eclipse. We saw the glorious resurrection of Innovate Indiana (i^2 aka i-squared). With its resurrection we are promised long life and prosperity with a refined set of objectives. i^2’s objectives include:
- Coverage of startups

- Hypothetical: we can only do one blog post. We have three startups to choose from to cover. One is from Indiana. Another is from somewhere else in the Midwest. The last one is from somewhere else in the world. The Indiana startup gets the nod every time. If there were two spots, the startup from elsewhere in the Midwest would get the nod next. Remember, this is a hypothetical.
